The Unwinding Sanctuary – Terms & Conditions
By booking an appointment, treatment, class, workshop, or event with The Unwinding Sanctuary, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Booking Fees & Payments
• A 50% booking fee/deposit is required to secure all appointments.
• Appointments are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
• Remaining balances must be paid at the appointment unless otherwise agreed.
• Prices are subject to change at any time without notice.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
• Deposits are non-refundable if appointments are cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the appointment time.
• Cancellations made within 24 hours, or failure to attend an appointment, will require full payment of the treatment booked.
• Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings.
Late Arrivals
• Please arrive on time for your appointment.
• Late arrival may result in reduced treatment time to avoid affecting other clients.
• If you arrive significantly late, your appointment may need to be cancelled and charged in line with the cancellation policy.
Health & Medical Information
• Clients must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, pregnancy, medications, skin conditions, or anything that may affect treatment suitability.
• Certain treatments may not be suitable depending on your health history.
• The Unwinding Sanctuary reserves the right to refuse treatment where necessary for safety reasons.
Patch Testing
• Patch tests are required for selected treatments including lash, brow, tinting, and certain beauty treatments.
• Clients who choose to proceed without a patch test do so at their own risk and may be required to sign a waiver form.
• The Unwinding Sanctuary cannot be held responsible for allergic reactions where patch testing advice has not been followed.
Treatment Results
• Results may vary from person to person depending on lifestyle, skin type, hair type, health, aftercare, and individual response to treatments.
• No treatment outcome can be guaranteed.
Respect & Behaviour
• The Unwinding Sanctuary is a safe, relaxing environment.
• Any inappropriate, aggressive, disrespectful, or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of treatment and refusal of future bookings.
Children & Guests
• Unless agreed in advance, please attend appointments alone to maintain a peaceful environment for all clients.
• Children must not be left unattended at any time.
Personal Belongings
• Personal belongings are brought to appointments at the client’s own risk.
• The Unwinding Sanctuary accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal items.
Courses, Workshops & Women’s Circles
• Spaces for events, workshops, and women’s circles may require a non-refundable deposit or full payment in advance.
• Payments for events may be non-transferable depending on notice given.
Right to Refuse Treatment
The Unwinding Sanctuary reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment at any time where it is deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or not in the client’s best interests.
